What we do

Our driving goal here is to start constructive discussion among a community, being driven both by lay experts, professional research analysts and the implementers from the buy side. We're not an analyst firm - but we are deeply committed to driving new concepts and methods for analyzing new technologies, products, concepts and markets.

What Makes a Great Member of the Knowledge Syndicate

Active Analysis syndicate members are analysts, researchers, academics, implementers and visionaries. We come from universities, think tanks, vendors, research and analysis houses, consulting firms and everywhere in between. Though we come from different backgrounds, we all share the passion to bring together communities focused on making technology and business work better.

Being an ActiveAnalysis syndicate members isn't a full time job. In fact, we see it as being something that takes 3 to 5 hours a week, depending on your involvement. We not only expect you to have a "day job" - we encourage it. It's the best way to bring real life expertise and current information to the members. ActiveAnalysis subject matter experts are expected to read the discussion forums on a regular basis, participating (or driving) conversation. We also expect you to author 2 or more opinions on the state of your market or new market developments each month (each about 2 - 4 paragraphs). Of course, writing more builds more interest in what you have to say, and the more interest you have, the more opportunities to participate in paid research, just as our Just-In-Time Reports or Private Research.

We believe that showing your knowledge and enthusiasm promotes your brand.

Independent and small analyst firms (as well as the big firms out there) that publish newsletters or other public research are encouraged to cross-post on ActiveAnalysis as well.
